The World Premiere of Going Furthur was on June 4th, 2016 at the Roxie Theatre, as part SanFran Doc Fest. It was an incredible night with much of the films Cast and Crew in attendance. There was also a great Q&A after the film with the Films Directors Colby Rex O’Neill, Matt Pidutti, and Lindsay Kent, as well as cast including Sam Cutler (Former Tour Manager for the Rolling Stones & The Grateful Dead), Original Pranksters George Walker and Anonymous, Derek Stevens (50th Anniversary Tour Manager), and the legendary Donte Walker (AirGuitar).
There were three screenings of Going Furthur in total as part of the Film Festival including two at the Roxie Theatre, and another at the Vogue Theatre. Extra thanks to Jammin on Haight in San Fran for hooking us up big time! We were excited to be able to have the World Premiere of Going Furthur in San Francisco because of the rich history that started there in the 60s, as well as the fact that the Furthur Bus 50th Anniversary Tour ended in San Francisco. The Emerald City is featured in the final scene in the film. Thanks to everyone who came out to the world premiere, it was definitely a night to remember!
